Tesla is accelerating its expansion in India’s electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of its second retail location. The new Tesla Experience Centre will open on August 11 in the WorldMark 3 campus of Aerocity, Delhi, catering to customers in the National Capital Region, a major area for India’s EV growth. This expansion follows the opening of the first showroom in Mumbai’s Maker Maxity Mall on July 15. The Mumbai event was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who welcomed Tesla and invited the company to consider setting up R&D and manufacturing facilities. The Aerocity center is nearing completion, and its monthly rent is expected to be around Rs 25 lakh. Images of the outlet have already been shared on social media, reflecting Tesla’s premium brand identity. Tesla’s sole offering in India currently is the Model Y, with prices starting at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
