A passenger aboard a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru experienced an unwelcome ordeal when they became trapped in the aircraft’s lavatory for the duration of the flight. The door became jammed shortly after takeoff, leading to the passenger’s confinement. The airline crew, unable to unlock the door, resorted to communicating with the passenger via a note slipped under the door, advising them to remain seated until landing. The delayed flight finally arrived in Bengaluru around 3:45 AM, where ground staff had to forcibly open the door. The airline has issued an apology and offered compensation to the passenger. The incident, including a photo of the crew’s note, quickly gained traction online, generating amusement and widespread discussion.
