Kanwardeep Jaura from Saharanpur has dedicated himself to preserving the legacy of vintage automobiles. He sees beauty in the design and craftsmanship of older cars, choosing to restore them rather than embrace the trend of new products. His restoration work has included a 1954 Dodge Convertible, a 1932 Plymouth Deluxe Sedan, a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle, and a 1929 Chevrolet Series AC International. This passion led to the creation of AJ Motoarts in Saharanpur. He started by restoring his own vintage bikes, then took on larger restoration projects. In addition to restorations, Jaura creates replicas of classic cars. He has built replicas of the Ford Model T, Corvettes, Alfa Romeos, and Shelby Cobras. The Mercedes W 125 Silver Arrow replica is one of his notable works. Jaura ensures accuracy in his replicas, using original designs and getting involved in the restoration process. Many of his replicas use EV powertrains. He wants to give people the experience of driving these classic vehicles. Jaura also creates furniture inspired by automotive designs. He acknowledges the challenges of importing parts and finding rare vehicles. His passion for classic cars continues, with the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette being a favorite.
