Mahindra has launched the refreshed Thar, with a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. The SUV has been updated with design enhancements, new comfort features, smart technology, and other additions. The exterior features a new front fascia, dual-tone front bumper, and R18 alloy wheels, enhancing the vehicle’s aesthetics. The interior features an all-black theme with a new steering wheel. New exterior colors, Tango Red and Battleship Grey, are now available. The interior has been improved with rear AC vents, enhancing passenger comfort. Automatic variants now include a sliding armrest and a dead pedal. Power windows are now door-mounted, and a rear-view camera is included. The fuel lid operates internally, and the vehicle has a rear wiper and washer, along with A-pillar entry-assist handles. The infotainment system is updated with a 26.03 cm HD screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and USB Type-C ports. The Thar has a direction monitoring system providing real-time information on tyre orientation. The Adventure Stats Gen II feature offers off-road data such as racing tab, altimeter, outside temperature and pressure, and trip meter. Engine options include the 2.0 M stallion Petrol, 2.2L mHawk Diesel, and D117 CRDE Diesel engines.
