A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru endured an unexpected and uncomfortable flight experience when they got stuck inside the aircraft’s restroom. The door lock malfunctioned shortly after the plane took off, leaving the passenger trapped. The crew, unable to open the door, provided support by slipping a handwritten note under the door. The note asked the passenger to remain calm and stay seated. After the flight landed in Bengaluru, the door was eventually opened by ground staff. The unusual incident, coupled with the crew’s note, generated considerable amusement and discussion on social media. SpiceJet has apologized to the passenger and provided compensation.
