Ola Electric, a major player in the Indian electric scooter market, has shared a teaser on social media, previewing its upcoming electric scooters. These new scooters will be launched at the Sankalp 2025 event. The event will take place at the Ola Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The event will also showcase Ola’s upcoming products, technology roadmap, and the introduction of MoveOS 6 software for its electric two-wheelers.
The teaser provides a preview of two distinct scooter designs: one with a sporty appearance and the other designed with families in mind. The sporty scooter features sharp lines, raised edges, and a stylish seat. It also incorporates angled pillion grab handles, adding to its sporty aesthetic. The design includes a small front beak and a single-piece grab handle.
A notable detail in the teaser is a small camera on the scooter’s front. This suggests that upcoming Ola e-scooters may include ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for enhanced safety and a better riding experience.
Ola Electric will introduce MoveOS 6. Following the previous launch of MoveOS 5, which included various safety features, MoveOS 6 will have a strong focus on AI integration. This may include an AI chatbot and a voice assistant, allowing users to interact with their scooters, access information, control features, and manage tasks like trip planning and navigation with ease.
The Sankalp 2025 event might also unveil the Ola Diamondhead electric motorcycle, a part of the Moonshot project, which is designed with a futuristic aesthetic. Its front section is characterized by a dome shape and a long LED strip, similar to the design of the Cybertruck.
