Hyundai has officially launched the significantly updated second-generation Venue compact SUV and its sporty N Line variant in India. These new models promise an elevated ownership experience with a focus on modern design, advanced technology, and enhanced safety, aiming to reinforce the Venue’s strong position in the competitive Indian automotive market.
The exterior design of the new Venue and Venue N Line is markedly more aggressive and contemporary. The front fascia is characterized by a bolder, rectangular grille featuring dark chrome accents and distinctive quad-beam LED headlamps. The C-shaped DRLs and a connected rear light bar lend a sophisticated and modern profile. The side view is enhanced with newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles. The rear design is muscular, highlighted by connected taillamps and a prominent 3D Venue emblem.
Inside, the cabin has undergone a complete redesign, featuring a premium dual-tone dark navy and dove white interior theme. The dashboard’s centerpiece is the impressive twin 12.3-inch curved display system, offering a futuristic and technologically advanced interface. A new terrazzo texture on the dashboard trim adds a refined touch. Rear-seat comfort has been improved with a 20mm longer wheelbase, along with practical amenities like rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining seats.
Safety and convenience reach new heights with the introduction of Level 2 ADAS technology, offering advanced driver assistance features. The robust safety net includes six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. High-end convenience features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a voice-activated sunroof, ventilated front seats, and ambient lighting further enhance the driving experience.
The new Venue is available with three engine options: a 1.2-liter petrol, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel. The diesel engine gains an available 6-speed automatic gearbox option. The Venue N Line exclusively uses the spirited 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.
Starting at Rs 7,89,000 (ex-showroom), the new Hyundai Venue offers a compelling package of design, technology, and safety at a competitive price point. This launch is expected to further invigorate the compact SUV segment in India.
