Jeep has introduced the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition in India, a limited-run variant of their top-tier SUV. The Signature Edition offers a range of upgraded features compared to the Grand Cherokee Limited (O), accompanied by a price increase that reflects the premium additions.
Notable premium features include motorized side steps, enhancing ease of entry and exit for occupants. The rear passengers are provided with twin 11.6-inch Android-based infotainment touchscreens, complete with integrated speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AUX compatibility. In addition, the Signature Edition is equipped with integrated front and rear dash cams.
Under the hood, the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, delivering 272 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which transmits power to all four wheels via Jeep’s four-wheel-drive system.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee competes against other luxury SUVs in its segment, including the Volvo XC90, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7, and BMW X5. Competitors like Audi and Volvo can seat up to 7 passengers, unlike the Grand Cherokee.
