Hero MotoCorp is working to expand its market presence with a new product strategy. This involves launching updated models. A recent teaser suggests a new motorcycle is coming. The launch of the new 125cc motorcycle is planned for August 19-20, 2025. The name of the model hasn’t been revealed yet. Hero already sells several 125cc bikes, including the Super Splendor, Glamour, and Xtreme 125R. The new model is most likely an update of an existing bike, such as the Glamour 125. Test versions of the updated Hero Glamour have been seen with a special feature. It’s cruise control, something not usually found on commuter bikes. The inclusion of cruise control is a big step for Hero MotoCorp. It will be the first commuter bike with this feature. Cruise control lets riders set a speed without using the throttle. The speed stays constant until the brakes are used. Spy photos show the cruise control button near the ignition button. The left side controls are new too. They have buttons for the new LCD instrument panel. This panel looks similar to the ones in the Karizma XMR 210 and Xtreme 250R. The Hero Glamour starts at ₹95,098 ex-showroom. It comes in Standard and Xtec versions. It has a 124.7 CC air-cooled engine that makes 10.3 bhp and 10.4 nm of torque. It has a 5-speed gearbox and gets up to 65 kmpl. The new model is expected to keep these specs. Cruise control might be on the top-spec Xtec model. The price will be interesting to watch.
