An unusual situation unfolded during a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru. A passenger became trapped inside the aircraft’s lavatory shortly after takeoff. The door malfunctioned, preventing the passenger from exiting. The crew attempted to fix the issue, but the door remained locked throughout the flight. To provide comfort, the crew slipped a note under the door to the passenger, instructing them to stay seated until the plane landed. The incident generated widespread amusement online, with a photo of the crew’s note quickly going viral. Upon arrival in Bengaluru, ground engineers opened the door. The airline has since apologized to the affected passenger and offered compensation.
