A SpiceJet flight bound for Bengaluru from Mumbai was the scene of an unusual mid-air incident. A passenger became trapped inside the lavatory soon after takeoff when the door malfunctioned and became locked. The crew, unable to open the door, opted to communicate with the trapped passenger via a handwritten note passed under the door, advising the passenger to remain seated until landing. The incident, which occurred on a flight delayed by two hours, has garnered significant attention on social media. The flight eventually landed in Bengaluru, where ground staff were able to open the lavatory door. The airline has issued an apology and offered a refund to the passenger involved.
