A new recall by Mercedes-Benz covers the EQS Sedan, GLS, AMG SL55, and S-Class vehicles due to a fire risk. This recall is the sixth voluntary recall this year from the manufacturer. The issue is linked to the fuse boxes; if these were not rewired correctly, systems connected to the fuse could fail. This can result in a sudden loss of propulsion. Furthermore, this can have effects on the instrument cluster, increasing the chances of accidents and injuries. Approximately 16 EQS sedans, 9 S-Class models (including Maybach), 3 GLCs, and 2 AMG SLs are affected. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners to schedule a free repair appointment.
