During a Mumbai to Bengaluru SpiceJet flight, a passenger faced the uncomfortable situation of being locked inside the plane’s lavatory for the duration of the flight. The airline has since apologized and offered a refund for the passenger’s ticket. The door of the lavatory became jammed after the passenger entered shortly after takeoff. Unable to open the door, the crew slipped a note under it, instructing the passenger to remain seated until the flight landed in Bengaluru. The incident led to a wave of social media reactions, with many users finding the crew’s note humorous. After the flight landed, the door was opened by ground staff. The airline acknowledged the event and apologized for the inconvenience.
