A SpiceJet flight bound for Bengaluru from Mumbai saw an unexpected twist when a passenger got trapped in the lavatory during the flight. The door’s lock failed, leaving the passenger stuck. The flight crew tried various methods but couldn’t open the door. A handwritten note was then delivered to the passenger through the door’s opening, giving advice to stay seated and wait for the landing. The passenger was finally freed after the aircraft landed at Bengaluru airport, with the assistance of ground staff. The airline has since issued an apology and taken measures to compensate the individual for the unusual circumstances.
