During the SCO summit in Tianjin, China, the camaraderie between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin was evident in their shared transportation: the Aurus Senat. This car is more than just a vehicle; it is a high-security limousine, a symbol of both luxury and protection. The Aurus Senat is a Russian-made vehicle, engineered by the NAMI Institute, designed to withstand extreme threats. Its armored body incorporates multiple layers of steel, ceramics, and other materials, making it bulletproof against 7.62 mm rounds, and compliant with BR5 and VR10 security standards. The thick windows provide exceptional protection, capable of stopping high-velocity projectiles. The doors and joints are meticulously sealed to prevent the entry of explosives or poisonous substances. Furthermore, the undercarriage and roof are reinforced with special plates to defend against IEDs, grenades, and other explosive devices. The car’s construction is a single piece, which enhances the safety of its occupants during an explosion. The Aurus Senat features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine, generating 598 horsepower, enabling the car to reach 100 km/h in just 6 seconds. The run-flat tires guarantee continued safe operation even with a puncture. The fuel tank is constructed from a special polymer, preventing leaks or explosions from bullet impacts. It also has an air purification system and an automatic fire suppression system. The Aurus Senat, with its advanced features, is a fortress on wheels. The car includes CCTV integration, an intercom system, and a secure communication network. The estimated cost of this remarkable vehicle is about £275,000, equivalent to roughly 3.05 crore rupees.
