**Maruti Escudo: New SUV for the Indian Market**
Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the Escudo, a 5-seater SUV, on September 3, 2025. This new model will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos and will be available through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena dealerships. The Escudo is expected to be based on the Grand Vitara, and a CNG variant may be available.

Vinfast, a Vietnamese car manufacturer, plans to launch two electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in India. Bookings for these models are already open, and local production is underway in Tamil Nadu. The VF7 is expected to have a range of over 400 kilometers with a 70.8kWh battery, while the VF6 may offer a similar range with a 59.6kWh battery.
**Tata Punch Facelift: An Updated Model**
A facelifted version of the Tata Punch is expected to launch by the end of 2025. The 2025 Tata Punch facelift may incorporate design and feature elements from the Punch EV. The existing 1.2-liter petrol engine is expected to remain.
