Indian Motorcycle, a renowned American motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced its new series of bikes in India. The 2025 Indian Scout series has been launched with an initial ex-showroom price of ₹12.99 lakh. The series comprises a total of eight models, including the Indian Scout Sixty Classic, Indian Scout Sixty Bobber, Indian Sport Scout Sixty, 1010 Scout, Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, and Renge Super Scout.
The 2025 Indian Scout series is equipped with two engine options. The base three variants are powered by a 999 cc engine, producing 85 bhp and 87 Nm of torque. The rest of the lineup features a new 1,250cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, named SpeedPlus. This engine provides 105 bhp and 108 Nm of torque, surpassing the performance of the previous 1,133cc engine. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Indian Motorcycle emphasizes that the new engine provides improved low and mid-range performance.
The Scout series has several notable features. The Limited variant includes standard, Sport, and Renge models, along with riding modes like traction control. An analog dial instrument cluster with a small digital readout serves as the display. Top-spec variants feature keyless ignition, USB charging, and a TFT display with connected capabilities.
With its new engine platform and recent upgrades, the 2025 Scout Bobber is targeting riders in search of a mid-weight cruiser with the classic bobber design. It is set to compete against the Harley-Davidson Nightster and Triumph Bonneville Bobber models. The Scout Bobber will also maintain its unique identity within the Indian Motorcycle lineup.
Previously, Indian bikes in India had a starting price of ₹20,20,000. Indian currently offers three models in India, with popular choices like the Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark Horse, and Super Chief Limited. The FTR 1200 is another model that is expected to be released. The most expensive Indian bike is the Super Chief Limited, priced at ₹22,82,155.
