A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru was disrupted by an unusual event when a passenger became stuck inside the aircraft’s lavatory. The door malfunctioned shortly after the flight took off, leaving the passenger trapped. The crew, unable to resolve the issue, penned a note to the passenger, slipping it under the door to provide reassurance and instructions to remain seated. The incident, which took place on a flight delayed by two hours, quickly gained traction online as images of the note spread. Following the plane’s landing in Bengaluru, ground staff successfully opened the door. The airline has acknowledged the incident, apologized to the passenger, and offered compensation.
