Hero MotoCorp has released a new single-seat version of the Xtreme 125R, expanding its offerings in the 125cc motorcycle sector. This launch follows the introduction of the Glamour X, a 125cc motorcycle boasting cruise control. The new single-seat Xtreme 125R is priced at ₹1 lakh, sitting between the split-seat IBS variant (₹98,425) and the split-seat ABS variant (₹1.02 lakh).
The Xtreme 125R distinguishes itself within the 125cc category, competing with models such as the Glamour, Glamour X, Glamour XTEC, and Super Splendor XTEC. The Xtreme 125R is recognized for its sporty design. The single-seat option prioritizes rider comfort. The bike retains the original engine: a 124.7cc single-cylinder unit that generates 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, along with a 5-speed gearbox. This new variant caters to riders seeking a balance between affordability and comfort. Safety features are headlined by single-channel ABS, complemented by the bike’s appealing styling, including its sporty tank and LED headlights.
