To purchase the annual pass, download the Rajmargyatra App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. The app provides the necessary functions to purchase or renew your Fastag pass. You can activate your pass after you’ve entered the required information and paid the fee. This pass is designed to work with your existing Fastag, eliminating the need for a new one.
**Vehicle Specificity:**
The pass is designed for single-vehicle use only, functioning exclusively with the vehicle linked to the Fastag registration. Using the pass with another vehicle will lead to deactivation. It is also important to correctly install the FASTag on the windshield to avoid blacklisting.
**Pass Details and Limits:**
The Fastag costs ₹3,000. It’s valid for one year or up to 200 toll crossings. Renewal is needed after either the time or the trip limit expires. The key benefit is the reduction in your average toll charge to ₹15 per trip, a considerable decrease from the original ₹50.
**Where the Pass is Applicable:**
The annual Fastag pass is only valid on highways and expressways operated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). It won’t work on state government-run routes. Standard toll charges apply on these roads. This includes the Yamuna Expressway and other main expressways in Uttar Pradesh.
**Trip Counting:**
Each crossing at a toll booth counts as a single trip. A round trip will be counted as two trips. In the event of a closed toll plaza, entering and exiting will be counted as one trip. The pass expires after 200 trips.
