The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has claimed the top spot in the car sales for July 2025, edging out the Hyundai Creta. The Dzire, which was revamped and launched last November, is also the first Maruti to receive a 5-star safety rating. With high fuel efficiency, new features and a contemporary design, the Dzire is seeing a surge in popularity.
July’s sales figures reveal that Maruti Suzuki sold 20,895 Dzire units, with Hyundai Creta selling 16,898 units. June 2025 saw Dzire sell 15,484 units, showing a notable month-on-month increase. The Dzire has been a top 3 seller twice in the fiscal year 2026 and is in the top spot for the first time this year. The sub-compact sedan is proving to be very popular in smaller cities, as well as in Tier 2 and 3 regions.
