Bajaj has released a new, affordable model in its Chetak EV scooter range, the Chetak 3001. Priced at Rs 99,000, it replaces the Chetak 2903 and is built on the new chassis platform introduced last year. This scooter aims to offer an economical option for electric vehicle commuters.
The Chetak 3001 boasts a 3 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 127 km. The scooter comes with a 750W charger that can charge the battery from 0 to 80% in 3 hours. Like other premium Bajaj EV scooters, the 3001 has a 35-liter under-seat storage area. It features a color LCD display and if buyers choose the TecPac, they get call and music control, guide-me-home lights, hill hold assist, reverse lights, and auto-flashing tail lights.
At Rs 99,990, the Bajaj Chetak 3001 is now the most affordable Chetak model. It will be available in Red, Yellow, and Blue. Deliveries will begin soon.
