Maruti Suzuki India is set to construct 21 Automated Driving Test Tracks (ADTTs) in Rajasthan following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the state’s Transport Department. This initiative, a key component of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, will see the tracks established in 20 cities, including major urban areas such as Jaipur and Jodhpur. The project aims to enhance the transparency of driving license testing and ensure compliance with Central Motor Vehicle Rules.
The tracks will be designed for two-wheelers and light motor vehicles. They will be equipped with advanced technology, including high-definition cameras, RFID sensors, and built-in IT systems. The Rajasthan government views this as an important step in its 10-year Road Safety Action Plan. This builds on Maruti Suzuki’s prior efforts in several other states, reflecting its commitment to road safety improvements.
