The Citroen Aircross SUV has achieved a 5-star safety rating following its recent crash test conducted by Bharat NCAP. The tested model was a 5-seater variant with a 1.2L petrol-automatic engine. The SUV excelled in the test, scoring 27.05 points out of 32 for adult safety and 40 out of 49 for child safety. All Aircross SUV variants benefit from this rating. In the frontal impact and side impact tests, the Aircross scored 11.05 out of 16 and a perfect 16 out of 16, respectively. The protection offered to the driver and front passenger was rated from ‘marginal’ to ‘good’. The side pole impact test performance was deemed ‘okay.’ The Aircross achieved full marks in the dynamic tests (24/24) and the CRS installation tests (12/12). The vehicle assessment resulted in a score of 4 out of 13.
