Kia is preparing a facelift for its Seltos model, following the recent launch of the Carens Clavis. The updated Seltos has been spotted testing in India, revealing design updates, including revised front and rear lights. The new Seltos is expected to launch early next year. The updated design will borrow cues from the EV9 and Syros. Exterior changes include a revised grille, updated bumper, and a continuous light bar at the rear. The interior is also expected to receive a redesign, using design elements from higher-end Kia models. Engine options will likely include 1.5-liter petrol (naturally aspirated and turbo), 1.5-liter diesel, and a potential hybrid powertrain. The 1.5L NA petrol engine may be electrified for a new 3-Row SUV. The Seltos will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara and Tata Curvv.
