Asked questions on SVB collapse, President Biden leaves press meet halfway | Watch

A video of US President Joe Biden leaving the press assembly halfway when questions had been requested to him in regards to the Silicon Valley collapse is doing rounds on social media. The video has sparked criticism.   When President Biden ended his remarks on “maintaining a resilient banking system and protecting our historic economic recovery”, a journalist requested him, “President, what do you know right now about why this happened? And can you assure Americans that there won’t be a ripple effect?”  Upon listening to the questions in regards to the banking disaster, Joe Biden, and not using a second look, began strolling away, leaving the press assembly halfway.   Another reporter requested, “Will other banks fail, Mr President?” But Biden had left the room. The video on the White House’s YouTube channel has gone viral with over 4 million views.
