*Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai pays a heartfelt final tribute to esteemed literary scholar Vinod Kumar Shukla, honoured by the Knowledge Forum*

Rajnagar, December 24, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai arrived at the residence of the late veteran writer Vinod Kumar Shukla, honoured with the Knowledge Forum award, in the Shailendra Nagar area of Raipur. He offered his last sight and paid homage. The Chief Minister placed a wreath on Shukla’s earthly body, bowed in respect, and prayed with the Almighty for the departed soul’s peace.
At this occasion, CM Sai, bearing the earthly body of the late Mr. Shukla, bade him a heartfelt final goodbye. He met the grieving family, expressed profound condolences, and wished that countless readers and lovers of literature could find strength to endure this immense sorrow.
CM Sai said that the loss of Vinod Kumar Shukla, a great writer born from the soil of Chhattisgarh, has dealt an irreplaceable blow to Hindi literature. His works are an exemplary model of sensitivity, human concerns, and simple yet profound expression.
He added that Mr. Shukla’s pen has taken Hindi literature to new heights. His writings not only touch readers deeply but will also serve as a source of inspiration and guidance for future generations. His contribution to the literary world will always be remembered. Mr. Shukla was given an official farewell with state honours.
At this event, poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas, Chief Minister’s media advisor Mr. Pankaj Jha, press officer Mr. Alok Singh, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Literature Academy Mr. Shashank Sharma, senior writers, members of parliament, and officials were present.
