To address the persistent traffic challenges in Giridih, authorities have launched a significant operation targeting encroachments and unregulated parking. The busy Jhanda Maidan Road, adjacent to S.J. Boss School, has seen extensive clearing of roadside shops and illegal structures that obstructed traffic flow, particularly from parked Totos. Sadar SDO Shrikanth Yashwant Bispute personally oversaw the inspection and subsequent eviction process. A key outcome of this drive is the planned establishment of formal parking zones for Totos and private vehicles within a fortnight, aiming to regulate traffic and prevent congestion. Furthermore, illegally occupied government premises have been freed up for the relocation of essential departmental offices, contributing to better governance and administrative efficiency in Giridih.
