The award was presented by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, who had personally welcomed PM Modi. Expressing his gratitude, PM Modi dedicated the honor to the 140 crore people of India, acknowledging Ethiopia as an ancient and prosperous civilization.
