A significant trove of 19 new photographs from Jeffrey Epstein’s properties has been revealed by Democrats serving on the House Oversight Committee, drawing attention to the disgraced financier’s extensive ties with prominent figures like Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Bill Gates.
According to Representative Robert Garcia, the ranking Democrat on the committee, the images are crucial evidence that “scream for answers on his power-broker ties.” He stated that the more than 95,000 photos, which also include extensive documentation of women and properties, necessitate full transparency from the Department of Justice. Garcia urged an end to any “White House cover-up” and demanded immediate release of all files to aid survivor justice.
The newly released images capture various individuals alongside Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Donald Trump is featured in several, including one with novelty condoms branded with his likeness and a boastful slogan, and another with several women. Bill Clinton appears in a photo with Epstein, Maxwell, and an unidentified couple. Other notable appearances include Steve Bannon in a mirror selfie with Epstein, Bill Gates with Prince Andrew, and Larry Summers with Alan Dershowitz.
While the committee confirmed that these specific images do not show any instances of sexual misconduct or involvement with underage individuals, they are seen as reinforcing the depth of Epstein’s connections within influential circles. The release comes as the deadline for the DOJ’s mandated disclosure of Epstein-related documents approaches, intensifying pressure for transparency.
Republicans on the committee have voiced strong objections, accusing Democrats of manipulating the release of images for political gain and attempting to “smear President Donald Trump.” They assert that the chosen photos are cherry-picked and devoid of any evidence of criminal activity, labeling the Democratic effort as a “hoax” that distracts from genuine justice for survivors.
This release adds to the committee’s comprehensive investigation into Epstein’s affairs, encompassing a vast archive of documents and visual materials. The renewed focus on Epstein’s elite associates, including past associations with Trump, Clinton, and Gates, ensures that the controversial legacy of his network continues to be a subject of intense public and political debate.
