Tragedy struck the Lalpania Valley on Tuesday night as a brutal motorcycle accident claimed the lives of two youths and left three others wounded. The collision took place near Tulbul village, causing immediate shock and distress.
Locals swiftly responded to the scene, providing aid and transporting the injured to the Gomia Community Health Center. Sadly, two victims were pronounced deceased at the facility. Officials, including the Gomia BDO and CO, were on-site and arranged for the transfer of the critically injured to Bokaro General Hospital for urgent medical intervention. The third injured individual is currently being treated at the TTPS hospital in Lalpania.
The victims have been identified as Ravi Prasad, 38, and Manshu Mahli, 16, both hailing from Tulbul. It is understood that Ravi Prasad was returning to Lalpania with a friend when his motorcycle collided head-on with Manshu Mahli’s bike, which was also traveling towards Lalpania. The violence of the impact was significant.
Eyewitness accounts highlight that a 4-year-old child traveling on Manshu Mahli’s motorcycle was flung from the bike but, by a stroke of luck, was unhurt. The administration has confirmed the head-on crash resulted in two fatalities and multiple injuries, emphasizing the need for caution on this stretch of road. Investigations are underway to determine the precise cause of this devastating accident.
