A potent warning has been broadcast from India’s Western front, indicating a readiness for significantly harsher reprisals against Pakistan. Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Command, has articulated that any future missteps by Pakistan will be met with a response that will make ‘Operation Sindoor’ seem like a minor incident. ‘Operation Sindoor,’ initiated in May, was a swift and severe blow against terrorist operatives and their support networks following a major attack. The General underscored that military preparations, exemplified by the ongoing ‘Exercise Ram Prahar,’ are specifically geared towards executing an even more formidable counter-operation. This extensive exercise simulated multi-domain warfare, involving coordinated actions by tanks, artillery, and attack helicopters, demonstrating India’s commitment to maintaining a strong deterrent posture and its capability for decisive action in the region.
