In a recent action, over 6,000 student visas were cancelled due to overstays or breaches of visa conditions, with some cases linked to alleged affiliations with terrorist groups. U.S. diplomats are now under instruction to closely scrutinize applicants for any signs of anti-American sentiment or political engagement, underscoring the administration’s commitment to national security and upholding its foreign policy agenda.
