The Budhapara Stadium in Raipur was the venue for the energetic launch of the National Supercross Bike Racing Championship, coinciding with Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year celebrations. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai led the inauguration with a personal motorcycle ride, drawing considerable applause from the spectators, especially the youth. During the event, CM Sai shared a strong message about road safety, urging everyone using two-wheelers to prioritize safety by wearing helmets and obeying traffic regulations. He conveyed his best wishes for the successful organization of the championship, which is set to take place on November 8-9. The Chief Minister articulated his belief that the nation’s strength lies in its youth, but this strength must be harnessed safely. The championship’s core objective is to cultivate discipline, responsibility, and a deep-seated culture of safety among young riders through a controlled, competitive environment. Ujjwal Deepak, head of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, reinforced this message, advocating for speed to be a cherished passion rather than a source of peril. The MRF National Supercross Championship 2025, featuring a specially constructed safe racing circuit, is positioning Chhattisgarh as a key player in Indian motor sports, promoting exhilarating competition alongside vital safety awareness.
