Raipur, October 21, 2025/ On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai reached Buiyampani village in Lailunga tehsil of Raigarh district today. Here, he participated in the Deep Mahotsav program organized at Gurudham, paid homage to the idols of his revered Saint Gurudev Swami Dhanpati Panda Ji and Smt. Premsheela Panda, and prayed for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and well-being of the state’s residents.
Extending warm Diwali wishes, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this Deepotsav should spread light in every home and the light of happiness, prosperity, peace, and love in every life. He said that the blessings of the Guru should always be upon us all. During the program, he visited the Shiv temple, offered prayers (Jal Abhishek) to the Shivling, and also worshipped the Hanuman temple and the Banyan tree.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is the blessings of saints and the people of the state that a farmer’s son has become the Chief Minister. He stated that in the 22 months of his tenure, bringing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guarantee schemes to the ground has been the highest priority of his government. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is working with a resolve for good governance, transparency, and development for the development of the people of Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister said that the outstanding bonus for two years has been provided to the farmers. The limit for paddy procurement has been increased to 21 quintals per acre. The price of paddy has been fixed at Rs 3,100 per quintal. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, women are being provided financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 18 lakh houses have been approved. The e-governance system has been launched, and strict action is being taken against corruption. Numerous public welfare schemes like the Landless Laborer Assistance Scheme, tendu leaf procurement at Rs 5,500 per standard bag, Ramlala Darshan Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana are being successfully implemented.
During the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the construction of a fully equipped building at Gurudham at a cost of Rs 1 crore, Rs 29 lakh for the Mahtari Sadan, as well as the installation of a high-mast light in the Gurudham complex, beautification of the pond, bore digging, and other requirements.
Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia extended warm Diwali greetings to everyone present. He said that there is no one greater than a Guru in this world. The Guru is the lighthouse that guides us from a life of darkness towards the path of knowledge, discipline, and morality. The inspiration of a Guru provides true joy, inner peace, and supreme happiness in life. Their guidance makes life meaningful.
