In a display of exceptional martial arts skill, Godda district has emerged as the champion of the 4th Jharkhand State Taekwondo Championship. The event, which spanned three days at the Urjanagar Staff Club, culminated in Godda’s athletes dominating the medal table. Their outstanding performance resulted in securing the championship trophy, backed by an impressive 16 gold medals, alongside 19 silver and 8 bronze awards.
The competition was stiff, with Deoghar district securing the second spot with 8 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals. Other participating districts, such as Hazaribagh, Dhanbad, East Singhbhum, Chatra, Ranchi, and Bokaro, also achieved notable success, contributing to a highly competitive state-level tournament.
This major taekwondo event brought together approximately 250 athletes from across Jharkhand, showcasing their technical abilities and competitive spirit. The championship served as a vital platform for athletes to hone their skills and for the sport to grow within the state. The successful conclusion celebrated the dedication and achievements of all participants.
