A special Day Adventure Camp brought immense joy and excitement to the Primary Wing students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi, on Thursday. The school’s campus was ingeniously converted into an adventure paradise, buzzing with the sounds of happy children ready for a day of fun and exploration. This event offered the ‘little DPSites’ a fantastic opportunity to enhance their courage and curiosity.
Featuring 13 engaging adventure activities, the camp included crowd-pleasers like water boats, trampolines, a jumping Mickey Mouse, Burma Bridge, rappelling, commando nets, the flying fox, and a zip line. Safety was meticulously ensured for all activities, allowing children to experience thrilling adventures while building confidence and overcoming any hesitations. The children’s delighted reactions and constant desire to do more activities were a testament to the day’s success.
Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan inaugurated the event and delivered an inspiring speech. She emphasized the profound impact of these activities on the holistic development of children. Dr. Chauhan noted that through experiential learning, children not only develop physical prowess but also cultivate vital attributes like self-confidence, collaborative spirit, and mental fortitude. Plans are underway to integrate more such enriching programs.
Delicious refreshments were available to keep the children energized, and they were heartily enjoyed. This adventure camp proved to be a significant learning experience for the kids, fostering friendships and creating joyful memories that will last. It wasn’t just a break from their daily schedule but a true celebration of discovery, adventure, and fun.
