Western Singhbhum: A tribute ceremony was held Tuesday at the residential premises of Member of Parliament Joba Majhi in Chakradharpur to honor Devendra Majhi, an instrumental figure in the ‘Jal, Jungle, Zameen’ movement. The event, which took place on Pump Road, saw MP Joba Majhi, MLA Jagat Majhi (her son), and numerous other supporters and family members offer floral tributes. Following the homage, the MP and MLA, accompanied by supporters, traveled to Goilkera to attend a subsequent memorial service. The day served as a solemn occasion to remember Devendra Majhi’s contributions and enduring influence.
