Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the eagerly awaited 5-day Jharkhand IAS Officers Wives Association (JESOW A) Diwali Mela 2025 on Thursday at Ranchi’s Morahabadi Maidan. MLA Kalpana Soren was present at the ceremony. In his address, Chief Minister Soren emphasized JESOW A’s long-standing dedication to charitable activities, noting that the organization is proudly celebrating its 25th anniversary. This year’s Diwali Mela, a much-anticipated event, is being held with immense enthusiasm and festivity at the iconic Morahabadi ground.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the central aim of the JESOW A Mela is to direct all its revenue towards humanitarian causes, focusing on the welfare of the poor and needy, and supporting social advancement initiatives. The organization’s contributions to education and health sectors have been significant. The event also marked the presentation of awards for exceptional social endeavors and the inauguration of a new library.
Chief Minister Soren commented that while many entities organize fairs during festive seasons, JESOW A stands out for its consistent commitment to the welfare of the disadvantaged since its inception, a truly commendable effort. He conveyed his best wishes to the JESOW A members and all functionaries for their outstanding social work, expressing hope that their services continue to impact the lives of the needy positively. He offered his warm congratulations for the successful inauguration of the JESOW A Mela 2025.
