From the heart of Punjab, 19-year-old Paramjeet Kaur has used social media to launch her music career, earning her the nickname ‘Lady Moosewala.’ Her music has become popular, and her latest song, ‘That Girl,’ has been a hit.
Paramjeet comes from a humble background in Duneke village, Moga, Punjab. Her mother works in other people’s homes, and her father is a daily wage worker. Despite her background, her talent has brought her success. Paramjeet discovered her love for music while in school. She later pursued music studies in college.
After posting her music videos on Facebook, she caught the eye of British music producer Manni Sandhu, who decided to film her song in Mohali.
Notably, the song ‘That Girl’ was recorded in an Airbnb in Punjab. The music video has been viewed over 6 million times on YouTube. Released on September 23rd, the song was recorded without expensive studio equipment, Manni Sandhu revealed. The vocals were still clear despite the ambient noise. The simple style of the music video further enhances its appeal. Paramjeet now has more than 200,000 followers on social media.
