‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ the prequel to the hit 2022 film, directed by Rishab Shetty, is performing strongly. Early estimates suggest earnings of around Rs 55 crore on its third day, for a total of approximately Rs 162.85 crore in its first three days, establishing it as a box office success.
Shashank Khaitan directed the movie, with Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan as producers under Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. The cast also includes Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra. This marks the second time Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have collaborated on a film.
