Renault and Nissan are preparing to introduce a range of SUVs in India, including both five-seater and seven-seater models. The initial release of the third-generation Renault Duster and Nissan Duster is scheduled for the first half of 2026. Hybrid powertrain options are planned to follow the ICE versions. The Renault Boreal, the 7-seater variant, is scheduled for 2027. Nissan will release a rebadged Boreal model in the second half of 2027.
The new Renault Duster will have a redesigned front fascia, with the Renault logo in the center of the grille, new headlamps and taillamps with Y-shaped elements, updated bumpers, body cladding, square wheel arches, and new alloy wheels. The interior is expected to be more premium with features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, and advanced driver-assistance systems.
