At the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh 2025, held in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched multiple schemes aimed at youth development and acknowledged the accomplishments of 46 top students from Industrial Training Institutes. The event served as the fourth National Skill Convocation. In his address, PM Modi congratulated the students and praised the strides made in India’s skill development sector. He announced the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs (PM-SETU), a major initiative. Furthermore, PM Modi inaugurated the Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Skill University in Bihar to enhance industry-focused courses and vocational training. He emphasized the government’s commitment to modernizing educational institutions in Bihar and celebrated the state government’s student credit card, which now offers interest-free educational loans and increased scholarship amounts. The Prime Minister highlighted the potential of Bihar’s youth to strengthen the nation.
