Maruti Suzuki is witnessing one of its strongest performances in the past decade this festive season, with bookings reaching 2.5 lakh and exports growing by 50 percent. During Navratri, the company delivered 1,65,000 vehicles in the first eight days and expects to achieve a record 2,00,000 deliveries by Dussehra, surpassing previous records from the last ten years. The company has received an excellent response, with current bookings at 2.5 lakh. Last year’s Navratri deliveries were about 1 lakh vehicles, indicating sales have almost doubled this year. This growth is connected to the GST reform introduced by the government. Exports have also seen a 50 percent growth, with 42,000 vehicles exported. Production teams are working on Sundays and holidays to meet high demand and anticipate a very successful October, with 2.5 lakh pending bookings. The priority is to deliver vehicles to customers as swiftly as possible. After the GST Council’s rate cut in August, many buyers who had delayed their purchases began booking cars, boosting demand. Bookings have risen from around 10,000 to 18,000 per day. Strong traction is also seen in small cars, with a 100 percent sales growth. Metropolitan cities are also observing a growth of around 35-40 percent.
