The Mahindra Thar, a vehicle synonymous with off-road capability, has been updated. Mahindra has launched the 3-door Thar, with prices beginning at Rs 9.99 lakh. This follows the previous generation, launched on October 2, 2020, with over 3 lakh units sold by 2025.

* AXT RWD MT: Rs 9.99 lakh
* LXT RWD MT: Rs 12.19 lakh

* LXT 4WD AT: Rs 16.99 lakh
**Petrol (2.0L mStallion)**
* LXT RWD AT: Rs 13.99 lakh
* LXT 4WD MT: Rs 14.69 lakh
* LXT 4WD AT: Rs 16.25 lakh
**Exterior Design Changes:**
The radiator grille has received a redesign, different from the body shell finish. Silver trim is present on the bumpers for a dual-tone appearance. The alloy wheel design is unchanged, but the rear now features a parking camera and a rear washer-wiper. The fuel lid can be opened from a switch in the driver’s seat. Two color options are available: Tango Red and Battleship Grey.
**Interior and Feature Updates:**
New pillar-mounted grab handles ease cabin entry. Power window switches are located on the door panels. Features such as the steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sliding front armrest, and rear AC vents have been carried over from the larger Thar Roxx. The touchscreen also displays adventure stats, including altitude, bank angle, pitch, and yaw angle.
**Engine and Mechanical Specifications:**
The new Thar maintains the same engine-transmission options, suspension setup, and drivetrain as before. There are three engine choices: a 1.5-liter diesel, a 2.2-liter diesel, and a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol. Gearbox choices include a 6-speed manual (MT) and a 6-speed automatic (AT).
