A smoke-related incident on the Pushpak Express, en route from Lucknow to Mumbai, brought attention to railway safety protocols. The event occurred near Bhadli station, between Bhusawal and Jalgaon, where smoke appeared in a sleeper coach. This caused a brief period of disruption and worry for the passengers. The preliminary investigation suggests that a possible cause of the incident could be the use of fiber brake liners in place of iron ones in newer coaches.
The train was stopped for around 20 to 30 minutes to assess the situation and implement safety measures. After the situation was deemed safe, the train resumed its journey towards Nashik.
