A tragic incident in Koderma resulted in the suicide of Mansoor Alam, a 42-year-old jawan serving as a driver in the police line, who consumed sulfas. Alam had been under considerable stress due to his suspension from duty. Before taking his own life, Alam created a video where he blamed two station in-charges for his death, alleging that they falsely accused him and led to his suspension. Alam, residing in the police line barracks, contacted his colleagues last night, informing them he had ingested poison. His fellow jawans immediately responded and transported him to Sadar Hospital Koderma in a critical state. Medical professionals referred him to RIMS, Ranchi, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The jawan’s wife reported that Mansoor Alam had been experiencing significant stress. He was suspended for three months and had faced a second suspension within four months. In the video, Alam explicitly stated that Jaynagar station in-charge Bablu Singh and Domchanch station in-charge Om Prakash Yadav were responsible for his death, accusing them of fabricating the charges that led to his suspension.
