Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the RSS centenary celebrations as the chief guest. The event, held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi, saw the release of a special postal stamp and a commemorative coin by the Prime Minister. PM Modi detailed the features of the coin and stamp, including the 100-rupee coin that bears the national emblem alongside Bharat Mata and RSS volunteers. He highlighted that this was a first in independent India’s history – the depiction of Bharat Mata on Indian currency. The Prime Minister also noted the historical significance of the stamp, which commemorates the RSS volunteers’ participation in the 1963 Republic Day parade.
