After the iPhone launch in September, Apple is preparing for another major event in October 2025. The event is expected to feature several new product launches, including the iPad Pro with the M5 chip, an upgraded Vision Pro, a new Apple TV model, a HomePod Mini, and a refreshed AirTag. There is also anticipation surrounding the release of the MacBook Pro M5.
Apple’s October events have been inconsistent, with events in 2021 and 2023, but no major events in 2022 and 2024. The company instead opted for press releases to announce product updates during those years. The 2021 event included the launch of the MacBook Pro (M1 Pro and M1 Max chips), AirPods 3, and new HomePod Mini colors. The 2023 Scary Fast event showcased the MacBook Pro and iMac with M3 chips.
Reports suggest that the iPad Pro M5 will be a highlight of the event, potentially featuring a dual front camera supporting both portrait and landscape modes. A new Vision Pro version is also expected, possibly incorporating the M4 or M5 chip, a new head strap, and a Space Black finish.
The new Apple TV is expected to feature an A17 Pro or N1 chip, enabling Wi-Fi 7 and Apple Intelligence features. The HomePod Mini could see improvements in sound quality, incorporate a new S-series chip, and introduce Ultra Wideband 2.0. The upgraded AirTag might come with an extended tracking range, improved durability, and enhanced battery alerts.
While the MacBook Pro M5 is in production, its release is likely to be delayed until January 2026. Apple is also working on future Macs with OLED displays and slimmer designs. Furthermore, a low-cost MacBook and a next-generation Studio Display are anticipated in late 2025 or early 2026.
