Dilip Yadav, the in-charge of the Bermamines Police Station, demonstrated outstanding honesty and humanity on Monday by returning a bag containing jewelry and diamonds, valued at 15 lakh rupees, to its rightful owner. This action has positively impacted the police force’s standing in the community. He was not tempted by the valuable possessions and, with complete responsibility, returned the bag without any personal interest. This commendable act has been widely discussed in the area, and the affected family was extremely pleased to have their lost bag returned.
Gurucharan Gorai, a resident of Birsanagar, was on his way home in a tempo on September 26th when he lost his bag near the Tube Company gate. He immediately filed a complaint at the Bermamines Police Station. Upon receiving the complaint, Police In-charge Dilip Yadav promptly launched an investigation and successfully recovered the bag after considerable effort.
The recovered bag contained valuable items, including an HP laptop, a Nikon camera, a gold necklace, diamond rings, gold rings, earrings, ear studs, diamond earrings, and a gold locket, among other precious jewelry. Gurucharan Gorai extended his thanks to Police In-charge Dilip Yadav for returning all the items in their original condition.
